Let It Ride Life By The Reins Card
The Let It Ride stamp set pairs perfectly with the Crackle Paint background stamp! I love the simplicity of this pretty swap card created by Janice Weightman.
Background Basics—This card begins by stamping a Crackle Paint background in Early Espresso ink onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Floral Romance Designer Series Paper in the woodgrain pattern. It's adhered onto an Early Espresso card base.
Focal Point—Janice stamped the Let It Ride horse image on the top of a 2-1/4" wide Very Vanilla die-cut from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits dies. She stamped the sentiment a the bottom of the rectangle, then layered it onto the next biggest size of Rectangle dies with Early Espresso cardstock. She wrapped some Braided Linen Trim around the layers, tied them into a double-knot and popped it up with Dimensionals. What a quick encouragement card for a friend or family member!

Let It Ride Left The Gate Open Card
The Let It Ride stamp set has excellent imagery for coloring and really making those horses come to life! I love how you can go from a simply stamped card, like the one above, to this one with a beautiful, colorful scene! This set is so versatile and we haven't had one like it featuring horses for years! So cool!
Background Basics—This card begins by stamping the Crackle Paint background in Early Espresso onto a Crumb Cake card base. TIP: Ink the stamp then lay it stamp-side-up on the table. Lay the card on top of the inked stamp, cover with scrap paper and burnish for a great transfer of ink over the entire area.
Focal Point—Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso ink at the top of a 3" x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock. Stamp the Let It Ride horse image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the piece and color it with Stampin' Blends Markers. The horse is colored with the Soft Suede and Basic Black markers. Next, stamp the Let It Ride trees in Mossy Meadow ink onto either side of the horse and add a little grass with the Mossy Meadow Dark Stampin' Blends Marker.
Finishing Touches—Sponge a little Early Espresso ink around the edges to give it an antiqued look. Tie a piece of 1/4" Copper Trim around the stamped piece and fray the edges, then pop up that layer onto a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Early Espresso with Dimensionals. Mount the focal point onto the card front with SNAIL Adhesive.
Inside The Card—Don't forget to add some of the coordinating horses on the inside of the card! Perfect!
