A big thank you to all of my October Countdown To Christmas Letterpress Winter class participants!  We had a small local class over the weekend and I'm sending out lots of online kits today!

CASEd from Sharon Burkert at As The Ink Dries using the Endless Wishes snowflake set.          

Today, I'm sharing another pretty Letterpress Winter card idea that's simple and stunning!  I love the beautiful silver accents!  And, there I go with another diagonal card…I'm really quite additcted to diagonal elements lately!

Letterpress bermuda diagonal - seasons greetings   

Background Supplies—I started with a simple Whisper White card base.  The Bermuda Bay layer starts as a 4-1/4" x 3" square. I marked one of the 3" high sides at the 2" mark and trimmed it diagonally from the 3" mark to the 2" mark.  I also cut a 1/4" wide strip of the Silver Glimmer Paper to add after the stamping was completed.

Snowflakes On White—I stamped the medium snowflake image in Pool Party ink and the small snowflake in Silver Encore Ink.

Snowflakes On Color—I stamped the medium and small snowflakes all over the diagonal Bermuda Bay piece with VersaMark Ink then embossed the images with Silver Embossing Powder.  I adhered that layer to the card base and added the Silver Glimmer strip over the seam, trimming the ends flush with the card edges.

Simple Sentiment—I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay on a 1-1/2" high scrap of Whisper White, then trimmed down the edges and popped it up on the card front with Dimensionals.

I finished off the card with a simple 1/8" Silver Taffeta Ribbon bow, attached with a Glue Dot.

My horizontal "thank you" card uses the same card elements as the first card.

I love this snowy background for both holiday cards and thank you cards for early in the New Year!
