It's another cloudy morning today, but I don't care! I have a sweet pair of Lift Me Up cards to lighten up my day!
Today, I'm sharing one of the card designs from my February Stamp-of-the-Month Class featuring this fun & cheerful duo! My class kit includes the Lift Me Up stamp set, full packages of Baker's Twine & Rhinestones, plus all the pre-cut card supplies for creating six beautiful Lift Me Up cards! Lift Me Up Cloudy Day Cards—I love the cool cloud and hot air balloon layers on this card! The Up & Away Thinlits make it all easy! I'll have everything all pre-cut and ready to stamp and assemble in my Lift Me Up Class Kit!
Background Basics—This card begins by die-cutting the 3-3/4" x 5" Whisper White background with both large and small cloud shapes from the Up & Away Thinlits.
Background Stamping—I stamped a Lift Me Up sentiment in Tip Top Taupe near the bottom of the background layer, then added some random clouds in both sizes with Pool Party ink. I also wrapped some White Baker's Twine around the layer and tied it in the back, then I added a separate small bow with a Glue Dot over the top. This entire layer is popped up with Dimensionals over a Pool Party card base.
Balloon Basics—I stamped the larger Lift Me Up hot air balloon in Wisteria Wonder onto Whisper White scrap card stock, and stamped the smaller balloon in Tip Top Taupe and Marina Mist. They were all die cut with the coordinating dies from the Up & Away Thinlits.
The balloons are all popped up with Dimensionals and adorned with a few Rhinestones that also come in the Lift Me Up class kit!
Inside The Card—I continued the cloudy theme on the inside of the card with a few stray Pool Party clouds.
Two Cool—We'll be doing two cool versions of this card for the class, and the second one is horizontal. The fun thing about the kit is that you can add balloons in any colors you like! Your favorite colors will look fabulous against the Pool Party sky!
This time, I stamped the large balloon in Sweet Sugarplum and the smaller balloons in Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach. The sentiment is stamped in Flirty Flamingo! I'm still loving the sweet In Colors! Ahhhh!
