It’s Last Chance For These Retiring Items!
The Last Chance Retiring Products have been posted today! This time, you’ll find items from the Sept-Dec Mini Catalog, as well as a variety of Online Exclusives and previous catalog carryover items.
Important Last Chance Changes: Stampin’ Up! will be handing retiring products a little differently from now on to streamline the process. Here’s a summary of what you need to know:
- Last Chance Retiring products will be posted every other month, on even months, and will include items from catalogs coming to an end, as well as Online Exclusives and carryover items.
- Last Chance items are While Supplies Last until they sell out; no official ending date.
- There will no longer be a Clearance Rack or Clearance Rack refresh happening. This is it!
- Some items on the list may be discounted.
Shopping Tip: Filter the online list from High to Low price to see bundles, stamps, DSP and embellishment grouped together. Filter from A-Z to see like named items grouped together.

Light The Year Sending Love & Light Cards
The retiring Light The Year Bundle is kind of hidden in the Mini Catalog, but I loved the simple holiday elegance of it. I paired these cards with the Regal Distressed Patterns Specialty Paper for a lovely look.
Background Basics
The first card begins with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock embossed with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder that I mounted onto a Crumb Cake card base. I added a 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Regal Distressed Patterned Specialty Paper along the left side, then tied some Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot.
Lovely Lantern
I stamped some Light The Year evergreen bows in Shaded Spruce ink onto a 1-3/4″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock. I layered it onto a Pecan Pie Perennial Postage die-cut label and adhered it to the card front with SEAL Adhesive.
Next, I stamped the Light The Year lantern in Pebbled Path ink onto Basic White cardstock. I added a candle image in Crumb Cake ink inside the candle, then die-cut the lantern with the Light The Year Dies and popped it up with Dimensionals. I finished by stamping a Light The Year bow in Cherry Cobbler ink onto Basic White, die-cutting with the coordinating die and attaching it with a Glue Dot.
Sweet Sentiment
I stamped the Light The Year sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes banner die-cut, then popped it up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
I added two sizes of Iridescent Foil Gems under the banner to add a little sparkle.
Two Cool
On this version, I embossed the background with the Fern Embossing Folder and mounted it onto a Basic Beige card base. I added the white Regal Distressed Patterned paper along the side and tied with Basic Beige Bordered Ribbon around it.
Focal Point
I stamped Old Olive pine needles this time and stamped the candle in Basic Beige. All other elements of the card are the same.
