Gather Together Layered Leaves Cards
Ooh…I'm loving these autumn cards with layered leaves in rich jewel tones, along with pretty metallic accents! I'm going to make myself a whole stack of these lovely cards!
Background Basics—I started with a Merry Merlot card base and adhered a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Come To Gather Designer Series Paper down the left side. Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze are looking amazing as a color duo for fall!
Next, I die-cut Very Vanilla cardstock with the second largest Stitched Rectangles die. I also embossed it with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder and it looks amazing with the stitching around the textured piece! Too Cool! I mounted that background with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Gather Together sentiment in Merry Merlot ink onto a 3-3/4" x 1-3/4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and adhered it to the textured background with SNAIL.
Layered Leaves—I stamped the Gathered Together large maple leaf image in Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic Ink onto Merry Merlot cardstock, then die-cut it with the coordinating Gathering Leaves dies. I love this new metallic ink that dries completely so it doesn't smear! The leaf is adhered with SNAIL.
Next, I die-cut a Cajun Craze embossed leaf with the same die set and added it with SNAIL. Finally, I embossed the smallest leaf onto Copper Foil and added it with more SNAIL.
Finishing Touches—I tied a double-bow with the Come To Gather Cajun Craze Linen Thread and attached it with a pinched Glue Dot. I finished by adding some Merry Merlot and Mango Melody Holiday Rhinestones around the leaves. So, so pretty!

Two Cool—The second card begins with a Pretty Peacock card base and a matching pattern from the same Come To Gather DSP.
This time I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock onto a Sahara Sand layer.
Leaf Layers—I stamped the large maple in Silvery Shimmer Delicata Metallic Ink. The medium leaf is in Mint Macaron and the small leaf is in Champagne Foil. I topped the leaves with a Braided Linen Trim bow and more Holiday Rhinestones Jewels. Loveliness!
