Lots of Heart Mini Heart Border Cards
I truly adore the soft & sweet color combinations of today's Lots of Heart cards! They almost have a vintage feel to them. I also love the mini hearts border created with cool border image in the stamp set. Let's take a closer look!
Background Basics—I started my stamping that long line of hearts three times in Petal Pink ink on the left side of a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock.
Notice that I stamped each image so that the mini hearts lined up…easy to do with the see-thru photopolymer stamps! I embossed a 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White cardstock with the NEW Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and adhered that to the card front. Then, I tied some pretty NEW Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon around the card and tied it into a double-knot. Oooh…that ribbon is devine! It's double-sided! I used the side that features the pretty metallic shimmer that is kind of a rose gold look. The other side is a solid Blushing Bride satin. It's hard to decide which side to use! Pretty Heart—I stamped the large Lots of Heart image in Rococo Rose ink onto Basic White cardstock and die-cut it with the coordinating Many Hearts die. I also used the same dies to create the Crumb Cake scallop heart…love, Love, LOVE! I popped the rose heart onto the scallop heart with Dimensionals, then mounted it onto the card with SEAL.
Finishing Touches—I stamped a Lots of Heart sentiment in Soft Suede ink onto a Basic White label made with the Potted Succulent dies. It's attached with SEAL. I finished by adding a single Champagne Rhinestone that perfectly matches!
Two Cool—I began the second card with the same Soft Suede base and textured background. This time the mini hearts were stamped in Balmy Blue ink.
Notice that this time I staggered the hearts instead of lining them up. It's just a subtle change, but the difference is in the details! I wrapped the card front with the delightful Just Jade gingham ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Pack.
Sweet Heart—I stamped the heart in Just Jade ink this time and added a different Lots of Heart sentiment. There are so many versatile & thought phrases in this set! Perfect for all kinds of occasions! I added matching sparkle by coloring a couple of clear Rhinestone Jewels with the Dark Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends Marker.
