Lots of Heart Just A Little Note Cards The Lots of Heart stamp set comes with a sweet little floral image that is perfect for coloring with Stampin' Blends Markers, so I designed these cards making it the focal point. I love the simple design that's perfect for a little heart-warming note.
Background Basics—I started by embossing a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and layering it onto a -7/8" x 5-1/8" Mint Macaron mat. The layers are mounted onto a Purple Posy card base.
Sweet Hearts—I die-cut two hearts using the Many Hearts dies; a larger one in Soft Sea Foam and a smaller one in Basic White. I stamped the Lots of Heart floral image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the white heart and colored it in with Stampin' Blends Markers. I used Petal Pink & Purple Posy for the flowers, Mint Macaron for the leaves and Mango Melody and Calypso Coral for the flower centers. I finished by brushing on some Wink of Stella glimmer.
Finishing Touches—I stamped the Lots of Heart sentiment in Memento Black onto a 2-1/8" x 3/8" strip of Petal Pink, banner cut the end and popped it up with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a single Opal Round gem. Ooh…I love those Opal Rounds! They have little flecks of iridescent sparkles in greens, pinks and purples, so they match so many soft, pastel colors. So versatile!
Two Cool—I embossed the background in Dainty Diamonds this time, layering it onto a Pear Pizzazz and mounting it onto a Pool Party card base.
Sweet Hearts—I changed the larger heart to Petal Pink this time and colored the floral with Purple Posy, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Pear Pizzaz and Mango Melody. I stamped the sentiment onto Purple Posy this time, positioned it lower on the card and flush with the edge.
Shimmering Floral—Here's a close-up of the awesome shimmer from the Wink of Stella glimmer! It really picks up the shine to match the Opal Round. Lovely!
