Hi Stamping Friends!

Lots of Lavender Beautiful Friend Cards

The Lot of Lavender Level 1 Sale-a-Bration set is so sweet!  It's a two-step stamp set, which means that the outline is stamped first and the colors are added with solid stamps for the flower, leaves and ribbon images.

 

Background Basics—I used the vine pattern of the Petal Pair Embossing Folders to add a textured pattern to the left side of a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Rich Razzleberry card stock.  Next, I added a 4" x 1-1/4" Wisteria Wonder piece along the bottom of the piece and tied some Whisper White & Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the layers before mounting it onto a vertically-folded Rich Razzleberry card base.

 

Lovely Lavender—I stamped the outline Lots of Lavender image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 2" x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock. I stamped the two-step lavender solid image in Wisteria Wonder over the top of the flowers, then added the solid leaves in Old Olive and the solid ribbon bow and strands in Sweet Sugarplum ink.  I finished by adding a sentiment from the Beautiful Peacock Sale-a-Bration stamp set in Memento Black ink.

Finishing Touches—I mounted the stamped layer onto a 2-1/8" x 4-1/8" layer of Silver Foil, then popped it up with Dimensionals.  Finally, I brushed on some Wink of Stella glimmer for a shimmering bouquet. 

 

Two Cool—My second card begins with a Sweet Sugarplum layer, embossed with the same vine pattern from Petal Pair with the "debossed" side showing. I kept the Wisteria Wonder strip, but tied the layers with Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim and mounted the background onto a Very Vanilla card base.

Lovely Lavender—This time the lavender is stamped on a Very Vanilla layer. I stamped color for the lavender flowers in Berry Burst ink, the leaves in Old Olive ink and the ribbons in Wisteria Wonder ink.
