Love Letter Fun Flowers Bookmark

My May Stamp Club group had the choice of creating my original Lap of Luxury Fun Flowers Bookmark in Concord Crush and Blushing Bride, or this one with the Love Letters Designer Serieis Paper…

Love letter 117162L This was by far the more popular!  I love it, too!  The Love Letter DSP is one of my favorites of all time (which is surprising since I don't usually like red and black).  I'll be so sad to see this beautiful set of coordinating papers go after June 30th.  Time to stock up before the new catalog!

Scissors for ribbon Craft & Paper (or Ribbon!) Scissors

I have to give a shout out for my awesome Craft & Paper Scissors on this post, because not only do they work wonderfully for paper and card stock, they are THE BEST scissors for cutting ribbon and fabric, too!

They slice through cleanly and easily with no fraying!  They have a soft and smooth, ergonomic handle that is very comfortable for right handed use.  And, the heavy-duty, stainless steel blades are 3-3/4" long, so it cuts through your materials quickly.

I only have one pair right now, so I've dedicated mine to ribbon and fabric cutting only (all those ribbons on the handle mean "no paper" for these scissors!).  I need to get another pair for my paper cutting projects.  Isn't there always something else to add to that Stampin' up! Wish List?

  1. Such cute bookmarks! I love that you dry embossed the large flower. Lovely touch! I am sad that our papers are disappearing in June, too. Can we expect that some of them will stay in the new catalog? I can’t wait for the list to come out…..I should probably inform Ted of the upcoming demise of his money! lol

  2. Jodi, I expect ALL of the Designer Papers from the catalog to be gone after June 30. That is how SU has been doing it. However, the First Edition DSP was carried over from the Occasions Mini, so that one may stay in the book.
