The new Lovely Floral Dynamic Texture Impressions Folder creates a beautiful background for Share What You Love cards! These sweet Love What You Do cards are perfect to send to someone who's loving life or is beginning a new adventure like a new job, retiring, becoming a new mom or volunteering. I love that the sentiment represents part of the Stampin' Up! Statement of the Heart. What an awesome way to celebrate the Stampin' Up! 30th Anniversary!
Background Basics—I embossed the 3-3/4" x 5" Grapefruit Grove cardstock layer with the Lovely Floral folder, then mounted it onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" layer of Basic Black. I added a 3-3/4" x 1" strip of one of the pearlized patterns from the Share What You Love Specialty DSP.
Terrific Twine—The twine accent is in two pieces. I wrapped one piece of White Baker's Twine around the layers, securing the ends on the back with SNAIL, then mounting the layers onto a Whisper White Thick card base. Next, I tied a separate bow and attached it on top of the twine with a pinched Glue Dot. That helps the bow lay just where I want it to.
Focal Point—The sentiment from the Love What You Do stamp set is inked in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped on the right side of a 2-3/4" diameter White oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. A floral sprig was stamped on the left side, then colored in with Grapefruit Grove and a Blender Pen. I brushed on a little Wink of Stella for some shimmer to match the pearlized DSP. I finished by adding a single peach Artisan Pearl, also from the Gotta Have It All Bundle! So sweet!
Two Cool—The second version features a So Saffron cardstock background.
Sponged Blooms—This time, I used a Sponge Dauber to lightly rub some White Craft Ink over the raised Lovely Floral textures. I love how this makes the flowers a little more prominence on the card, while still keeping it subtle.
I used another of the four pearlized DSP patterns along the bottom…so sweet! The flower buds on the stamped image are colored with So Saffron ink and the sentiment is accented with yellow Artisan Pearls. Lovely!
