Well, it's been one of those weeks where I'm just behind on everything…man, don't you hate that?! I've been trying to get my Last Thursdays Card Class projects finished so I could show you what we are making ahead of time. But, here it is the day before, and I'm still working on them! Geesh!
So, even though I don't have them all done…trust me! You know they are gonna be completely cute and Too Cool, right?! You don't need to see them to know that you want to make them at our class tomorrow!

These two cool Valentine's cards feature the Hearts A Flutter stamps and the new Designer Build-A-Brads! I don't create many red & black designs, but all of a sudden, this is the second red & black card I've done in the last four days! What's my deal? Haha!
I found this one on Pinterest and I thought it was bold and very striking! The colors and the style are a little more masculine, which is a nice change.
The base is Basic Black, something I rarely ever choose, with just a hint of Real Red peeking out behind the Whisper White background. Before adhering to the card base, I wrapped some Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon around the front.
I stamped the Hearts A Flutter hearts in Real Red, then punched them out with the 1" Square Punch and layered them on Real Red Scallop Square punches.
The Basic Black Scallop Square punch was pierced in the center to hold the Designer Build-A-Brad. I love this customizable embellishment! You can change the center to whatever you want! I used the heart image from the Itty Bitty Bits set, punched out with the Itty Bitty Punch Pack Circle Punch.
I adhered the heart to the center with a dab of Multipurpose Glue, I added the adhesive-backed clear bubble over the top. So cute!
Each square is popped up with Dimensionals, of course!
The sentiment is from the Seasonal Sayings set, which is a carryover item from the Holiday Catalog. I colored the rubber with the Basic Black and Real Red Markers before stamping.
The second card uses the same elements in a vertical, staggered design.
I liked the look of the tilted hearts on this version. How about you?
