Lovely & Beautiful Double-Z Gate-Fold Card

I did a second version of this awesome fun-fold card; see the original one on this post. This time, I’m combining products from several beautiful suites: Lovely & Beautiful, NEW All Aflutter Bundle and NEW Scalloped Blooms Bundle.

Background Basics

I started with a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Old Olive card base (a quarter of a sheet). The folded Old Olive card is 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 2″, 3-3/4″, 7-1/4″ and 9″. It’s folded into a double-Z gate-fold.

I adhered a 1″ x 4″ piece of Lovely & Beautiful DSP to each side of the card platform, then mounted the folded card onto the card foundation with SEAL Adhesive.

Next, I added Lovely & Beautiful DSP to the outer front gate, measuring 1-7/8″ x 4″.

Focal Point

I die-cut a Basic White Scalloped Blooms die-cut and stamped a Scalloped Blooms sentiment on it in Old Olive ink. I popped that up onto the left front gate with Dimensionals.

Next, I stamped the butterfly trio from All Aflutter in Gray Granite ink onto Basic White. They are colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers in Fresh Freesia, Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe. The actual color from the DSP palette is Peach Pie, but I wanted to share a color that was new, rather one that was retiring. I punched them out with the coordinating All Aflutter Punch and attached them with SEAL Adhesive.

Finishing Touches

I finished by adding some Pearlized Faceted Circles onto the butterflies…fun sparkle.

Inside The Card

I added more Lovely & Beautiful DSP, measuring 1-1/2″ x 4″ onto the inner panels. I also stamped some Fresh Freesia All Aflutter butterflies and an Old Olive Scalloped Blooms sentiment onto the 3-1/4″ x 4″ Basic White message area. Perfect!
