Magical Meadow Winter Wishes Card
This first pair of cards from my Magical Meadow LIVE Class is definitely my favorite! The colors are all very much “Too Cool” and I enjoy the simplicity of layered stamping!
I started by embossing a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. It’s layered onto a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock. I added a 3-3/4″ x 1-1/2″ piece of Lost Lagoon across the bottom before mounting the layers onto a Thick Basic White card base.
Lovely Layered Stamping
I die-cut a Basic White focal point layer with the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I started by stamping a Magical Meadow sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink at the top right for positioning. Next, I stamped the large sprig in Blackberry Bliss ink and added two branches in stamped-off Blueberry Bushel. I finished by adding three Lost Lagoon leafy images, all stamped off once for a lighter look.
I tied the stamped layer with the 1/2″ Iridescent Ribbon, tied into a double-knot, then popped it up with Dimensionals.
I finished with a few Iridescent Pearls around the sprigs. I love how the Iridescent Pearls look with the Iridescent Ribbon for a wintery look!
My second card has a Lost Lagoon embossed background, layered onto Basic White and mounted onto a Lost Lagoon card base. Instead of cardstock, I added some Winter Meadow DSP across the bottom.
I kept this focal point nearly identical to the first card, changing only the sentiment and the positioning of the element on the card front. So lovely!
