I could not believe how quickly and easily my team swap card came together! All of the parts of the beautiful Magnolia Lane suite are designed to come together effortlessly! I'm pretty sure this suite will be my favorite from the new catalog. The lovely floral images combined with soft colors and flowing fonts make for a truly stunning collection of products. Demonstrators are raving about it and it's sure to be a popular one with all stampers!
Background Basics—The Magnolia Lane Designer Series Papers are definitely the star of the show in this suite. I selected two pretty patterns for an easy-to-create background: the floral is 5" x 2-3/4" and the striped is 5" x 1". Both are adhered to a 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" layer of Mossy Meadow. I added a strip of the new 3/8" Linen Ribbon, which is part of a ribbon combo pack, and secured the ends on the back with Tear & Tape Adhesive. It's all mounted onto a Thick Whisper White card base.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Good Morning Magnolia sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White cardstock, positioning it to the left to leave room for the flower. It's die-cut with the Nested Stitched dies and popped up over the ribbon with Dimensionals.
Magnificent Magnolia—I stamped the Good Morning Magnolia flower in Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White and colored it using Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink and Bronze Stampin' Blends Markers. TIP: Use the Color Lifter Marker to fade the color to white on the petals. I die-cut the flower with the Magnolia Memory dies and adhered it to the sentiment label with SNAIL Adhesive.
Finishing Touches—The Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo pack also comes with Mossy Meadow Linen Thread, so I used that to create a bow to adorn the flower. It's attached with a "pinched" Glue Dot. I finished by adding some Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins in Petal Pink. Perfection!

Marsha Henry also enjoyed creating a team swap card with the new Magnolia Lane collection. She stepped it up with more layers and die-cutting—wow!
Background Basics—Marsha's card begins by adhering a 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of striped Magnolia Lane DSP down the left side of a Mossy Meadow card base. Next, she texture embossed a 2" x 5-1/4" layer of Petal Pink cardstock with the Layered Leaves embossing folder and adhered that to the card front with Tear & Tape adhesive. She also added a Pearlized Doily as a foundation for her focal point.
Decorative Border—Marsha used the Magnolia Memory dies to cut a beautiful border down the side of the card. Oooh…I just love that cool edge!
Sweet Sentiment—Like my card, Marsha stamped the Good Morning Magnolia sentiment in Mossy Meadow onto a Nested Stitched die-cut. Marsha tied a Old Olive Linen Thread bow around the sentiment, then popped it up with Dimensionals.
DSP Florals—Instead of stamping the flower images, Marsha used the floral images from the Magnolia Lane DSP! She die-cut the large flower with the Magnolia Memory dies and popped that with Dimensionals. Then she fussy-cut the leafy images and tucked them under the sentiment with Glue Dots. So pretty!
