Matching Love Letter Cards

Today, I'm featuring two cards that I created to match the Scallop Envelope Gift Card Holder from yesterday.

Once again, I've used the beautifully patterned Love Letter Designer Series Paper and the color combination of Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Whisper White, and Riding Hood Red.

To match the pretty Scallop Circle Paper Flower on yesterday's project, I made mini-carnations from the largest flower in the Boho Blossoms Punch.  Because it was so small, I used six punches, rather than eight.  You can see Dawn Griffith's Paper Flower Tutorial to learn how to make the basic flower.  I added Basic Pearls to the flower centers and the red stamped design.

Card Details: The sentiments are from Word Play and are accented with a pretty design from the Artistic Etchings stamp set.  The 3" circle is cut by using the Circle Scissor Plus, and it's layered on a die-cut from the Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die.  I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch for a pretty edge.  The Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon is tied with a smaller piece of Raven Lace Trim.

Here's the whole ensemble!

So, it kind of looks like a Valentine's Day project, huh?  Well, for once, maybe I can say I'm planning ahead!  Haha!

Thanks for visiting!
