Daisy Delight You Make Me Smile Cards

The Daisy Delight Bundle has been super-popular during our demonstrator pre-order and it's easy to see why!  Daisies are the quintessential flower to send a cheerful greeting and bring a smile!  It's an instant classic!  I teamed this lovely flower up with some background papers from the NEW Pick A Pattern Designer Series Paper pack.

Background Basics—I wanted bold & bright colors on this card, so I started with a 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of black patterned paper from the Pick A Pattern DSP.  I LOVE the cool pattern on this one!  The intersections of the circles create an optical illusion that looks like they are twinkling!  I layered the DSP onto a 4-7/8" x 3-5/8" Basic Black layer, then again onto a 5" x 3-3/4" Crushed Curry layer.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a sentiment from the NEW Colorful Seasons stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a 4-3/4" x 1" strip of Whisper White.  I added the trio of flowers from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Crushed Curry ink, then adhered it to the background layer.

NEW Ribbon—I wrapped some NEW Crushed Curry 3/8" Mini Chevron Ribbon around the layer, securing the ends to the back with SNAIL adhesive.  Then I mounted the entire background onto a Whisper White card base.

Delightful Daisy—The daisy is so fun & easy to make!  I stamped the NEW Daisy Delight image in Crushed Curry ink onto Crushed Curry card stock two times, then punched them both out with the NEW Daisy Punch.  I stamped the solid flower center in Memento Black Ink on the top flower.  Next, I used my Bone Folder to gently curve up the petals, then I adhered the two blooms together with a couple of Glue Dots so that the petals were staggered.

Finishing Touches—I topped the flower with the cool NEW Gold Faceted Gems!  I love these!  They come in 3 different sizes on a sheet and they are so reflective & sparkly!  They're larger then rhinestones, so they are great for large flower centers like this one!

Buy The Bundle & SAVE—Purchase the Daisy Delight photopolymer stamp set and Daisy Punch together in a bundle to save 10% off the cost of purchasing them separately!

Two Cool—My second version of this card design changes up the colors of the main elements.  I used a different Pick A Pattern DSP design for my background.

White Daisies—I stamped the daisies in Memento Black Ink onto Whisper White this time for a better contrast with the background.  The flower center is stamped in Crushed Curry and it's topped with the same Gold Faceted Gem.
