Merriest Moments Embossed Background Cards
Although the Merriest Frames Dies are a must-have with the Merriest Moments stamp set, I created these four cards to spotlight the beautiful stamped images.
Background Basics—I started by embossing a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. I adhered a piece of the Cherry Cobbler & Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the layer, then mounted it onto a Crumb Cake card base.Sweet Sentiment Layer—I stamped the Merriest Moments sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink onto a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Basic White, then added some greenery in Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent to fill out the bottom left corner. The layer is matted onto a 2-7/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and popped up with Dimensionals.
Pretty Poinsettia—I stamped the Merriest Moments large poinsettia flower in Cherry Cobbler onto scrap Basic White, die-cut the shape with the Merriest Frames Dies and adhered it over the foliage with SEAL Adhesive. I added a gold Wonderful Gem to the flower center and a couple more around the leaves. .
This card will be part of the 5-Card LIVE Class Kit.
Two Cool—The second card is completely identical, except for the shorter sentiment.
Three Cool—The third card starts with a Basic White background embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder. It's adhered to a Thick Basic White card base, then tied with the ribbon around the entire card front into a double-knot.
Stamped Greetings—I stamped a longer sentiment on the horizontal focal point this time, adding the foliage to the top left corner.
Four Cool—The final card has the ribbon wrapped around the card front with the ends secured with SEAL under the focal point. The flower is more centered on the left edge, but otherwise very similar to card three.
