Hi Stamping Friends!
I'm finally getting back into the groove after my trip to Leadership. It always takes awhile to catch up and fall back into my regular routine. I'm working on lots of things in my Too Cool Studio this week: creating new projects for a fancy folds Stamper Sampler class and a Painted Petals Stamp-of-the-Month class, prepping presentations and make & takes for a Too Cool Team meeting, and cutting supplies for a private class this weekend. <waves to my hostess, Angie>
Oh, and then there's this pile of goodies from Leadership spread out all over my foyer. I probably should pick that up, right? And, I should unpack my carry-on bag sitting there, too. Why does it take me so long to put things away? Does anyone else have unpacking procrastination?
I've got lots to do, but it's so much fun (well, except the unpacking)! I'm so grateful that I have a new boost of energy and motivation from Leadership to keep me going! Woohoo!

Today, I'm sharing a quick card that Michelle Hoover created for our Kickoff Party last month. I can't believe that was over a month ago, and I can't believe that Valentine's Day is next week!
I've had several customers comment how much they adore the Crisp Cantaloupe and Basic Black color combination for Valentine's Day. It is a lovely, fresh alternative to pinks and reds, don't you think?
Background Basics—Michelle started with a 4" x 5-1/4" Crisp Cantaloupe card stock background that she embossed with the Happy Heart Texture Impressions Folder. That was adhered to a Basic Black card base.
Stacked With Love Layers—I love how easy it is to use the Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack for cards. Michelle, simply cut one of the 6-1/2" x 4-1/2" sheets in half, making it 3-1/4' x 2-1/4", and adhered it to the top of a 3-1/2" square layer of Basic Black.
The mini hearts across the bottom are punched with the Hearts Border Punch and adhered with a dab of Multipurpose Glue. She finished this layer by wrapping it with some Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Baker's Twine and tying it in a knot with long, dangling tails. She popped it up with Dimensionals to secure it to the card front.
Sweet Heart Sentiment—Michelle finished up the card by stamping a Groovy Love heart in Crisp Cantaloupe on Whisper White card stock and punching it out with the Sweatheart Punch. She stamped a sentiment from the same set in Memento Black Ink and die-cut it with the Bitty Banners Framelits. It's popped up with Dimensionals for extra emphasis. So simple and sweet!
