My Surprise Convention Gift

I'm finally getting my Convention goodies put away, and I completely forgot to show you what Darla Eigenschink made me as a roommate gift! 

Isn't it the cutest little purse?!  Plus, it was filled with yummy Ghiradelli Raspberry Dark Chocolates!  I'm impressed that it survived a trip across the country and back, and even more surprised that I still have some chocolate left!  I'll have to work on that right away.

She used a tutorial from Becky Roberts at Inking Idaho.  If you've seen her blog, you know that Becky has lots of purse-sonality—purses are her specialty!  You can find the tutorial for this design and many others on the right-hand column of her blog.  Check it out!

And, while I'm on the topic of awesome demonstrators, I wanted share my moment with Jan Tinklenberg from Stamps, Paper, Scissors (YSLH—yes, she loves herself!).  While I was checking out some of the display boards at Convention, I turned around and found her standing right behind me!  She graciously allowed me to take a photo with her:
