Autumn Leaves Falling Leaves Cards
I think this pair of cards is my favorite from my Autumn Leaves Class! The cool part of this layout is that it’s so easy to adapt to any color combination, with any Designer Series Paper you have on hand. You could even add some embossed or stamped leaves for a variety of looks!
Background Basics
I started by adhering a 1-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of copper colored All About Autumn Designer Series Paper onto a Cajun Craze card base. Next, I embossed a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder. It’s layered onto a 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ piece of Crumb Cake. I wrapped some of the Natural Ribbon around the bottom, securing the end with SEAL Adhesive. The layers were then mounted onto the card front.
Focal Point
I used the Autumn Leaves Dies to die-cut five different leaves; one each in Copper Clay, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, along with one in each of the Oxidized Copper Specialty paper colors. I adhered the cardstock leaves with SEAL and popped up the Oxidized Copper leaves with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
I stamped the Autumn Leaves sentiment in Cajun Craze ink onto a Very Vanilla label created with the Autumn Leaves Dies. It’s added with Dimensionals until the top half and SEAL along the bottom.
I finished with a few Copper Clay Speckled Dots floating around the leaves. Gorgeous!
Two Cool
My second card is pretty much identical, except for having a vanilla pattern of All About Autumn DSP on a Very Vanilla Thick card base. Ooohh!
Focal Point
Everything else on this card is the same as the original! Talk about an elegant look!
