Nature's Prints Best Wishes Card If you need an elegant card for a wedding or other special occasion, this one is perfect! This fancy-fold card was one that I featured as a mystery stamping project during one of my Too Cool Stampers team events.
Background Basics—I started with a 4" x 10-1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock, scored and folded at the 5-1/4" mark. You'll want to stamp any message or decorative stamping on the inside of the card before mounting it to the base. I scored two 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" pieces of matching Sun Prints Designer Series Paper diagonally, from corner-to-corner, then adhered them to the back of the folded card with the diagonal fold flush with the edge of the card. This creates two overlapping corner gate-fold flaps. I also embossed a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock with the Fern Embossing Folder and adhered that to the front of the Basic White card. I finished by mounting the card onto a 4-1/4" x -1/2" Starry Sky card base.
Belly Band—I cut a coordinating 1" x 10-1/2" strip of Sun Prints DSP and folded it around the card to create a belly band. I adhered the ends, positioned under the focal point label, with SEAL Adhesive.
Label Focal Point—I stamped two overlapping Nature's Prints images in Starry Sky ink onto a Basic White Scalloped Contours die-cut. I attached the label to the belly band only with several Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Nature's Print sentiment in Starry Sky ink onto a Basic White Natural Prints die-cut. I added a folded piece of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon onto the back of the label, then popped it up onto the label.
Finishing Touches—I colored a few Rhinestone Jewels with Starry Sky Stampin' Blends Markers and added them around the foliage.
Nature's Prints Envelope Treat Box
Here's another cool project for a special occasion! You could use this elegant treat box for a table favor for all kinds of special events, or for a simple neighborly gift! This treat box was created by Peggy Tassler for our team members who participated in our August Too Cool Stampers team event.
Envelope Treat Box—These adorable little envelope treat boxes are the perfect size for a small gift, treat or gift card! You receive 10 food-safe boxes per package, each pre-scored and complete with ready-to-peel adhesive for easy assembly. The boxes have a secure closure and also come with gold foil seals for an extra-elegant touch! You can stamp directly on the box, or create a cute belly band, which is what Peggy did on this project.
Belly Band—Peggy created a simple belly band with a 1-3/4" x 11" strip of Night of Navy cardstock. She scored the band at 1-7/8", 3", 6-3/8" and 7-1/2", then wrapped it around the box and secured the ends with SEAL Adhesive.
Sweet Sentiment—Peggy stamped the Nature's Prints sentiment in Gray Granite ink onto a Basic White Natural Prints label die-cut, then added a Night of Navy branch along the side of the label. Next, she stamped a Starry Sky flower and Gray Granite branch onto Basic White cardstock, die cut it with the Naturals Prints Dies. She also die cut another branch out of Gray Granite cardstock. She layered those altogether with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue and mounted them to the left side of the label.
Finishing Touches—Peggy tied a bow with Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon and attached it with a Glue Dot to the bouquet. She finished by adding a single Rhinestone Jewel next to the sentiment. Just lovely!
Treats!—I love when the treats match the treat box (I'm I alone here?) and little fun-size York Peppermint Patties coordinated perfectly! I could fit 4 snugly into the box. I think they were a hit!
