Woohoo! Yesterday, I received my box of fun pre-order goodies from the upcoming 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog—it was like Christmas come early! To actually hold the 5 new colors, the returning In Colors, and the 5 new In Colors was thrilling! Plus, demonstrators were allowed to pre-order from a small selection of stamps and accessories, so we can start creating projects right away! (I love that little perk!) So, I just had to get some of those items, too! After my workshop today is done, it's playtime, baby!
Although I have not had enough time yet to play with my new stuff yet, my fellow demo, Michelle Hoover, has graciously allowed me to post this fabulous card she created for her parent's anniversary. It gives you a sneak peak at a few of the items you'll be able to order as soon as the catalog is released on July 1.
Everything about this card is new: new colors, new Designer paper, new stamps, new embossing folder and new ribbon! She used the new Early Expresso and Cherry Cobbler colors of card stock and ink. The images are from a new set called Artistic Etchings. Layers are created with a piece of Cherry Cobbler dry embossed with the new Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder, and a piece of the new Newsprint Designer Series Paper. She also added a coordinating Early Expresso ribbon in the new 1/8" Taffeta style.
Fun, fun, fun stuff! I can't wait until you all can see it in person, too!
