Hi Stamping Friends!
Sale-A-Bration 2017 may be over, but I have a "Cool" Sale-a-Bration After-Party coming up at the end of April—my Cool Treats Stamp Camp & Sale-a-Bration Celebration! It's a fun class AND an extension of the Sale-a-Bration promotion, plus fun prizes & ice cream with sprinkles!
This is the awesome event that my Sale-a-Bration VIPs will be able to attend for FREE, but ALL of my stamping friends are invited! If you can't make it to the local class, order a Class-To-Go Kit!
All of the details are below! Hope you can join us!
Today, I'm sharing one of the fancy-fold cards we'll be making at the event!

Cool Treats Soft Serve Gate-Fold Cards
I had so much fun designing this class! The fun frozen treats and sweet patterns in the Cool Treats Suite are so yummy! It's the perfect suite to highlight at my Sale-a-Bration Celebration event! This gate-fold card features the pretty specialty paper that has a shiny varnish over the colorful treats. We'll be making one of these cards at the event!
Gate-Fold Basics—I started with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Watermelon Wonder card stock and scored it on the long side with the at the 2-1/8" and 6-3/8" marks using the Simply Scored Tool. I decorated the front two panels with 2" x 5-3/8" pieces of Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Soft-Serve Stamping—I stamped the Cool Treats cone in Crumb Cake ink onto the bottom of a Whisper White Lots of Labels die-cut. Then, I stamped again over the top of the cone with the cone pattern image in Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the soft-serve ice cream image in stamped off Watermelon Wonder ink onto Whisper White scrap card stock, then stamped the swirly pattern over the top, also in Watermelon Wonder ink. The ice cream is die cut with the Frozen Treats Framelits, then popped up with Dimensionals. I finished it by adding some Wink of Stella clear glimmer to the swirls. Oooh, nice!
Attaching The Focal Point—I layered the stamped label shape onto a Pool Party Lots of Labels die-cut mat. I attached the focal point to the front of the card with Dimensionals on the left gate-fold side only.
Sprinkles—The Sprinkles tiny sequins embellishments add so much fun and texture to this card! I adhered them with tiny dots of Multipurpose Glue. TIP: The sprinkles are so tiny that found it helpful to make a little sticky-tipped tool to pick them up and position them easier. Simply add a little Multipurpose Glue to the tip of a toothpick and let it dry. It will have just the right amount of sticky to do the job!
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Cool Treats greeting in Early Espresso ink onto a 3" x 1/2" strip of Whisper White, then fishtailed the ends with Paper Snips. I popped up the sentiment with Dimensionals.
Two Cool—My second version begins with a Pool Party card base and a Pool Party DSP pattern on one of the front panels. I also changed the mat color to Watermelon Wonder and the ice cream to Pool Party this time.
