Elegant Flourish Filigree Cards
Simple & elegant! I love the stunning look of these Flourish Filigree cards! The design is perfect for anything from a thank you card to an invitation! They are easy & quick to duplicate, so they are perfect for mass-producing, too! The Flourish Filigree stamp set will be retiring in just a few days—get it before it's gone for good!
Background Basics—I started with a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock that I texture embossed with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder. I used a couple of strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive, along with SNAIL Adhesive to securely mount it to a Blueberry Bushel card base.
Fantastic Filigree—I stamped the large Flourish Filigree image in Blueberry Bushel ink onto a 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Whisper White. It's mounted onto a 4-3/8" x 3-3/8" piece of Silver Foil, but before mounting, I punched out a Pretty Label Punch shape out of the center to use later with the sentiment. Might as well save some of that pretty foil, since we're covering it up anyway! I attached the layers to the card front with more Tear & Tape and SNAIL.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Flourish Filigree sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, then punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch. I cut the Silver Foil shape that I punched out earlier in half and positioned each half on the top & bottom of the sentiment so just a bit was peeking out. I trimmed away any foil that didn't match up perfectly, then popped up the greeting with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I added some silver Metallic Pearl jewels to the four points on the flourish.
Two Cool—My second version features Merry Merlot with gold accents.
NEW Greeting—The Pretty Label Punch has plenty of room to use a myriad of sentiments! I tried out a pretty birthday sentiment from the NEW Humming Along stamp set from the Occasions Catalog.
Glorious Gold—I especially adore the Merry Merlot color with the Gold Foil and gold Metallic Pearl accents on this card! So rich & elegant!
