It’s that time of year where Stampin’ Up! lets us know which items will be going, going…GONE! Both the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog and the January – April Mini Catalog will be ending on April 30. While select items will be carried over into the NEW 2024-2025 Annual Catalog or as Online Exclusives, many other items will be retiring.
TIPS For Purchasing Retiring Items
- Select Last Chance Items On Sale Up To 60% off Beginning April 9.
- All retiring products are While Supplies Last only. Once they are gone, they are gone!
- 2022-2024 In Color items will likely sell out quickly! Purchase In Color cardstock, ink, refills, DSP, markers, embellishment as soon as you can!
- Price Increases Coming—Here’s a heads up that there are some price increases coming on some basic items that you may want to stock up on now. White cardstock is going up 19%; color cardstock is going up 29%. You’ll see other significant price increases on envelopes, Glue Dots, Liquid Glue, Ink Refills, Blends Markers, Paper Snips and Memento Ink.
- Retiring Bundles May Not Mean Bundle Items Are Retiring. All current “bundles” will be retiring, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the stamp set and tool will be retiring. Bundle discounts are only good on the year they premiere, but individual parts of the bundle may still carry over.
- If it’s not in the Online Store…it’s gone! Once a retiring items is sold out, you will not see it at the Online Store.

Perennial Lavender Get Through This Card
Here’s another cool card from my Perennial Lavender LIVE Class! Have I told you how much I adore this color combination—Too Cool for sure! We just found out that the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper will be carried over into the new Annual Catalog…awesome!
Background Basics
I started with a 3-1/2″ x 2-3/4″ piece and a 3-1/2″ x 2″ of the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper, adhered on the top and bottom of a 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. I tied some retiring Lost Lagoon Bordererd Ribbon around the layers, then mounted them onto a Berry Burst card base.
Focal Point Florals
I stamped two Painted Lavender single flower stems in Lost Lagoon ink onto Basic White cardstock. I stamped the floral image in Gorgeous Grape. For the two-color floral, I inked the image first in Fresh Freesia ink, then dabbed on a bit of Berry Burst ink with a Sponge Dauber before stamping the image onto Basic White cardstock. All of the images were die-cut with the Painted Lavender Dies. I also die-cut a Lost Lagoon sprig with the dies set.
I die-cut a Basic White Perennial Postage label and adhered the floral stems and sprig to it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The label was popped up with Dimensionals over the ribbon.
Sentiment
I stamped the Perennial Postage sentiment in VersaMark ink onto a Crumb Cake Perennial Postage die-cut label. Then, I sprinkled on some white embossing powder and heat set it with the Heat Tool until glossy and smooth. Since the Basics Embossing Powders are currently unavailable until the new catalog arrives, I just used Gorgeous Grape ink on the card that I demonstrated in the LIVE Class. I popped up the label with more Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
I finished with one of each of the three colors of Purple Fine Shimmer Gems! I’m so happy these gems are carrying over into the new catalog! Wheeee!
Perennial Lavender Get Through This Card 2
Sandy Carlson created this pretty Perennial Lavender card with a shortened opening. Love it so much!
Background Basics
She started with a 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ piece of Crumb Cake scored at the 3-1/4″ mark for the card base. The front was decorated with a 3″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Perennial Lavender DSP. On the inside, she decorated the right edge of the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White message area with a 1″ x 5-1/4″ strip of a coordinating Perennial Lavender DSP pattern.
Focal Point Floral
Sandy stamped the Painted Lavender floral in Gorgeous Grape and the multi-stem image in Shaded Spruce ink onto a 2-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock. It’s layered onto a 2-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Gorgeous Grape and popped up onto the shortened card front so that it overlaps the inside DSP strip.
Sentiment & Finishing Touches
She finished by stamping the Painted Lavender sentiment in Crumb Cake onto a Basic White Perennial Postage die-cut label. It’s popped up, as well. She finished by adding a few Iridescent Foil Gems, which look absolutely beautiful with the Crumb Cake color. So pretty!
