4NBC - Happy Everything 1

Night Before Christmas Happy Everything Card

If you watched today's LIVE Class, then you saw how quickly you can trim the card pack cards (if necessary) and assemble the pieces for super-cute, Christmas cards!  I especially love the cards with a shortened card front like this one!

Background Basics—I started with a 5-1/2" x 7" piece of Old Olive cardstock, scored at the 2-3/4" mark.  Next I embossed a 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Old Olive with the Hammered Metal embossing folder and adhered it to the card front with Tear & Tape and SNAIL adhesives. I added a 3/4" x 5-1/2" strip of Gold Foil over the texture for some shine.

Focal Point—I layered the "happy everything" card pack card onto a 3-1/8" x 4-1/8" layer of Very Vanilla cardstock and popped it up with Dimesionals onto the card front.  I also added some Red Rhinestones just below the focal point onto the inside layer.

Inside The Card—I added a 3" x 4" Very Vanilla cardstock layer for the inside and decorated it with a sticker from the card pack.

6NBC - We Believe In Santa 1

Two Cool—This card breaks from the traditional card base, starting with a quarter sheet 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Cherry Cobbler.  The card part is a 4" x 10-1/2" piece of Very Vanilla Thick cardstock, scored at 5-1/4" and adhered to the Cherry Cobbler base with Tear & Tape. I added a 4" x 1" Gold Foil strip across the bottom front, then adhered the red polka dot card pack card at a tilt.

Next, I tied some of the Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Striped Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot.  Finally, I popped up the Santa card pack card with Dimesionals over the ribbon and added a few Red Rhinestones floating around the sentiment.

Inside The CardI finished the inside of the card with two candy cane stickers from the card pack.

2NBC - Ho Ho Ho 1
Three Cool—This third card from the class begins with a Pretty Peacock card base.  I cut the large "ho ho ho" card pack card to 3" x 4-1/4", starting with taking the extra off the top and bottom of the cards and save those pieces.  I used the backside, the candy cane striped pattern, to create the 3/4" strip across the bottom, making sure the seams meet until the focal point.  I added a 5-1/2" x 1/4" Gold Foil strip just above it.  Finally, I adhered the sentiment card over the top with SNAIL adhesive.

Sentiment Banner—I popped up the "holly, jolly" sticker with Mini Dimensionals over the sentiment. I also added some Red Rhinestones under the striped layer.

These are just three examples from this quick & cute class kit!  You can see three additional examples from yesterday's post.  You'll love how fast all 12 cards will come together!  You'll be able to get the in the mail to friends and family in no time!
