Nothing's Better Than…Coffee Cards

Which of the Four C's is your favorite: Chocolate, Cookies, Coffee or Cocktails? I know that coffee continues to be popular and today's cards are a fun way to reach out to friends who share your passion!

All of the sentiments and die-cuts from the Nothing's Better Than Bundle are so fun for mixing and matching to whichever guilty pleasure you can't live without! There are so many mix & match, fill-in-the-blank possibilities! I designed my LIVE Class cards to be a versatile enough design that cardmakers can just plug in their chosen "C" word and corresponding images. I chose "coffee" on this one, but you can easily switch that out for any of the other words and phrases! Two Cool!

Background Basics—I randomly stamped the Nothing's Better Than coffee cup images all over the front of a Mint Macaron card base in Mint Macaron ink. TIP: I like to stamp diagonally down the center of the card, then work out from there for best images positioning. I embossed a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with one of the Wrapped in Texture Mini Embossing Folders and mounted that on the card base. I finished by tying some Braided Linen Trim around the card front, into a double-knot, and frayed the ends for more fun texture.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the first part of the Nothing's Better Than sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink onto a Whisper White, Stitched Shapes large square die-cut. I added the second part of the sentiment at the bottom in the same ink. Then, I die-cut a "coffee" word from Early Espresso cardstock and adhered it to the square with tiny dabs of Multipurpose Glue. I finished by stamping a few Daffodil Delight sparkle images around the words.

Cute Coffee Cups—I stamped the outline stamp for the coffee cups in Early Espresso onto Whisper White scrap cardstock, then added the solid fill stamp inside in Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight. I LOVE how the color is not designed to completely fill the image, so it gives you a real retro feel and also a nice margin for error! Perfect! I finished by die-cutting the images with the Love You More Than dies and adhering to the square with SEAL adhesive. I popped up the square with Dimensionals.

Two Cool—I created a similar card with a Coastal Cabana card base. This time I embossed the Crumb Cake panel with the other Wrapped in Texture Mini Embossing Folder and I only added a few sparkle images on the background with Coastal Cabana.

Sweet Sentiment—I changed up the sentiment and stamped it onto a large circle from the Stitched Shapes dies.

Cute Cups—The coffee cups are in Mint Macaron and Daffodil Delight colors and notice how I added some steam coming out of the cups with Crumb Cake ink. Lovely!
