Bird Ballad One-Sheet Wonder Projects
Yesterday's projects featured upcoming holidays, Halloween and Christmas, but this set of projects works well for any occasion! Just pick your Designer Series Paper and coordinating cards and gift packaging for any special event! You can find the step-by-step instructions on how to create the box on yesterday's post and on the LIVE Class Replay linked below. Here's a reminder of how to cut the DSP…
Designer Series Paper Pieces—For these projects, cut your 12" x 12" DSP into the following pieces (in order):
- 9-1/2" x 12 (for box)
- 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" (for card #1)
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" (for card #2)
- 2" x 2" (for large tag)
- 1" remaining strip (for box tag)
Gift Box—There's so many beautiful papers in the Bird Ballad DSP that I had a difficult time selecting just one! I loved the colors and large bird imagery in this one. I wrapped the box with the Petal Pink Striped Organdy Ribbon. The tag is die-cut with the Stitched Nested Labels dies and the sentiment layer is die-cut with the smallest die from that set. I added some pearl accents on this one.
Bird Ballad Friendship Card—I started with a Pool Party card base and a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Pool Party that was embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder. I added a 2-1/2" x 5-3/4" piece of Bird Ballad DSP and tied some Petal Pink Striped Organdy Ribbon around the card front.
Birds on a Branch Label—I stamped the Free As A Bird image in Memento Black ink onto a large Stitched Nested Labels Whisper White die-cut. It's colored in with Stampin' Blends Markers in Old Olive, Soft Suede, Pool Party and Petal Pink. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom with Memento Black and popped up the label. I finished by adding some Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins in Petal Pink.
Bird Ballad Thanks Card—This version begins with a Petal Pink card base and a Whisper White 4" x 5-1/4" layer, also embossed with Layered Leaves. I tied the ribbon around the White Layer before mounting it onto the card front.
Bird Ballad Focal Point—The Bird Ballad DSP was so pretty on this 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" cut piece that I decided I didn't need to stamp at all! I simply adhered it to a 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" Petal Pink mat and popped it up with Dimensionals. I added a Free as A Bird sentiment, stamped onto Pool Party and cut out with the Classic Label Punch. I finished with a couple Pearl Jewels…but it looks like the pearl on the right of the sentiment is trying to make a run for it! LOL!
Bird Ballad Tag—The 2" x 3" Petal Pink strip was punched with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch, then decorated with a 2" x 2" piece of Bird Ballad DSP. I die-cut a small Stitched Shapes circle in Whisper White and stamped the Free As A Bird sentiment in Old Olive. I also added a flower image over the top, stamped off in Petal Pink ink. The circle is layered onto a small Calypso Cora scalloped circle, die-cut with the Layering Circles dies. It's popped up and more Striped Organdy Ribbon is tied through the hole.

Magnolia Lane One-Sheet Wonder Projects
The final collection of one-sheet wonder projects features items from the Magnolia Lane suite! I think this would make a lovely wedding ensemble, don't you?!
Magnolia Gift Box—Again…any of the papers from this pack would look beautiful for this box! I tied the box shut with the Magnolia Lane Combo Pack Ribbon in the linen color. The tag has a little flower that's hand-cut from one of the scraps from the box template.
Magnolia Thinking of You Card—This card begins with a Petal Pink card base and a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Petal Pink that's been embossed with the Pinewood Planks folder.
I stamped the large Good Morning Magnolia image in Petal Pink onto the large Stitched Nested Labels shape, then stamped the sentiment over the top of it in Mossy Meadow. I finished by tying some Magnolia Lane Ribbon around the label, popping it up with Dimensionals and adding a few Pearl accents.
Magnolia Lane Thanks Card—The second card begins with a Mossy Meadow card base and a Pinewood Planks embossed layer in Whisper White. The focal point DSP is mounted onto Mossy Meadow. I die-cut the flower from another sheet of Magnolia Lane DSP and popped it up over a Whisper White Stitched Shapes circle die-cut. I finished by stamping the Good Morning Magnolia sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink onto Whisper White cardstock and die-cutting it with the Ornate Frames. I added some Petal Pink Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins on either side of the word.
Magnolia Lane Tag—The final tag base is with Petal Pink cardstock. I stamped the Good Morning Magnolia sentiment in Mossy Meadow onto Whisper White and used the Ornate Frames dies to cut it out. I layered it over a 2-1/4" x 1/2" strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock, fishtail cut on the ends and popped up.
