Winter Woods White Pine Cards
There's something magical about snow glistening on a pine tree and I love how these Winter Woods Class cards showcase that wonderful wintery moment! We'll be making all four of these cards in my Winter Woods Class-To-Go kit!
Background Basics—I started by stamping the Winter Woods birch trees image in Pool Party ink across a 4" x 3" piece of Whisper White. It's layered onto a 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Silver Foil, then tied with some Silver Baker's Twine. I popped up all of the layers onto a Pool Party card base.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Winter Woods greeting in Night of Navy ink onto the right side of a 4-3/4" x 1-1/2" piece of Vellum Cardstock. It's adhered to the background layer with SNAIL only applied where I knew the pine would cover it. The right side of the vellum is floating free.
Pretty Pine—I die-cut a large Whisper White pine tree shape with the In The Woods Framelits for the base, then I die-cut the smaller pine for the second layer. That top layer has some cool detailed cuts that allowed me to lift the branches up to add more texture & interest. I finished by adding some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the branches using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Oooh, so sparkly! I also added a single Rhinestone Jewel for balance.
