Darla's Amazing You Collage Card

Darla Eigenschink shared this lovely card at our last Too Cool Team event. I love how she combined the Amazing You stamp set images with Celebrate You Thinlits die-cuts.

Background Basics—Darla started by stamping the burst image from the Amazing You stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink onto the edges of a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Whisper White. Next, she added a 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" strip of Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper along the bottom, then wrapping some 1/2" Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon around the layer, securing the ends on the back. The layer is mounted onto a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, then mounted onto a Daffodil Delight card base.

Amazing Bloom—Darla stamped the flower image from Amazing You onto Whisper White scrap card stock, then colored it in with Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Markers. She hand-cut the flower images with super-sharp Paper Snips and popped it up with Dimensionals. She also die-cut some Lemon Lime Twist leaves using the Flourish Thinlits and attached them with Glue Dots under the bloom.

Sweet Sentiment—I love the papers that Darla used for the die-cut sentiment! The "amazing" is cut from Gold Foil and the "you" is cut from another pattern of Tutti Frutti DSP. They are both adhered with Multipurpose Glue.

Amazing You Happy Birthday Card

I love the layered sponged flowers on this beautiful birthday card!

Floral Background—The Amazing You flowers were stamped randomly in Memento Tuxedo Black ink over a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White. The flowers were colored with a Sponge Dauber using either Powder Pink or Berry Burst ink. The layer is adhered to a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Berry Burst card stock, and it's mounted on a Powder Pink card base. A 4" x 1-1/4" strip of Berry Burst card stock was adhered across the background to create a foundation for the sentiment.

The flower image was stamped and sponged three more times, then fussy-cut with Paper Snips and eventually popped up around the sentiment with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—The Cake Soireé greeting is stamped in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White, then die-cut with Layering Circles Framelits. It's layered onto another circle die-cut in Powder Pink, then popped up with Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—The sentiment is adorned with a Lemon Lime Twist Ombré Ribbon bow, attached with a Glue Dot. There are also some Lemon Lime Twist Tutti Frutti Sequins sprinkled around the background, too. So sweet!
