Today, I'm featuring Two Cool stocking stuffer projects created by my Too Cool Demo Team members for our recent shoebox swap.  Let's take a look!

Carmen - hand santa-tizer copy

CASEd from Tami White at Stamp With Tami.

Carmen DeBruce showed us how to create this adorable "Santa-tizer" stocking stuffer.  Haha!  How clever!

Santa Bottle Body—She started with hand-sanitizer that she purchased at the dollar store, 3 for $1.  To decorate, texture embossed a 2' x 5-3/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler with the Perfect Polka Dots Folder.  Add a little curve to the card stock with a Bone Folder, then wrap it around the bottle and adhere the overlapped ends with Fast Fuse Adhesive.  A few Basic Black circles punched from the Owl Punch are added with Glue Dots.

Santa Face Tag—Start with a 1-1/4" Circle punch of Blushing Bride for the face.  The hat is a Petite Pennants punch, folded over and accented with a Silver Glimmer circle punched from the Owl Punch

Carmen pre-printed the "Santa-tizer" words onto a sheet of Whisper White card stock, then punched it out with the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch for the beard.  It's folded over before being adhered to the face, becoming a tag for you to write the recipients name inside.

Finish by punching a 1/8" hole in the top and tying the tag to the bottle with Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine

Vicki - hand sanitizer 1 copy  Vicki - hand sanitizer 2 copy

CASEd from Yvette's Paper Garden.

Vicki Hinen also brought a Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer holder to our stocking stuffer swap.

To Assemble:

  • Cut a 2″ x 11″ piece of Cherry Cobbler and score 1/2″, 2″, 3″, 4-1/2″, 7-3/4″ and 9-1/4″ on the Simply Scored board.
  • On the side with 1/2" wide panel, punch the next panel with the Curly Label Punch to create a hole to hold the sanitizer.  TIP: Punch a Curly Label from a sticky note first, then use that as a template to position your punch over the panel.
  • Fold all score lines then adhere the 1/2″ panel to the back of the holder with Sticky Strip.
  • Adhere a 2″ x 3-1/4″ Cherry Cobbler piece to the front for the cover.
  • Add a small piece of Velcro to create the closure.
  • This holder will accomodate many sizes of hand sanitizer, but you may need to add a couple of Glue Dots to the bottom of the bottle to keep it nicely secured in place.

To Decorate—Vicki added a 1-7/8" x 3-1/8" piece of patterned paper from the Trim The Tree Designer Series Paper Stack.  She die-cut another pattern from the same pack with the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  Then, she stamped an image from Festival of Trees in Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler Ink, punched it with the Tree Punch, and added the layers with Dimensionals.  The top of the tree is finished off with a Silver Glimmer Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack star.
