Ornate Garden Scallop Circle Thanks Cards
The Ornate Style large floral image begs to be colored with Stampin' Blends Markers and today's two cool cards have some lovely color combinations for coloring! I CASEd the first Pretty Peacock card from the second Mint Macaron swap card shown above, originally created by Kelly Acheson. I love the blue/greens with a pop of contrasting color!
Background Basics—This card is included in the 6-Card LIVE Class Kit! I started with a traditional Pretty Peacock card base: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at the 4-1/4" mark. Next, I cut a 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of the white and gold floral paper from Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper, then "smooshed" my Pool Party ink pad over the top of it to alter the color. I adhered it to a 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Old Olive cardstock and mounted onto the card front with SNAIL.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Ornate Style floral image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes die-cut, along with a pair of sentiments from Ornate Thanks. I colored and shaded the floral with Stampin' Blends Markers: Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, Mango Melody and Olive Olive.
Finishing Touches—I finished by brushing on some Wink of Stella glimmer over the flowers and mounting the circle onto a Gold Foil scallop circle die-cut with the Layering Circles dies. It's popped up with Dimensionals. I finished by attaching an Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Shimmer Ribbon bow under it. I love it!

Two Cool—The second version was a swap card created by Kelly Acheson and you can make this version to my 20-Card Class-To-Go Kit. It begins with a Mint Macaron card base and a plain white & gold piece of Ornate Garden DSP layered onto Terracotta Tile.
Kelly's focal point uses a different small sentiment and colors in the floral using Calypso Coral and Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers.
She finished up with a Terracotta Tile bow from ribbon in the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack. So pretty!
