Ornate Garden Your Kindness Is Loved Card

I've really been enjoying this style of card lately! I love how you can have a pretty decorative border peeking out from the inside of the card and the Ornate Borders dies make it so easy! These pretty dies have already went into backorder, but you can still order the entire Ornate Garden Suite and the dies will come in as soon as they are available, which will likely be around May 4.

This card will be available in both the 6-card and 20-card kits.

Background Basics—This card begins with a 7-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at the 4-1/4" mark. I adhered a 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" layer of the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper to a 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" layer of Mint Macaron and mounted it onto the card front.

I wrapped some Ornate Garden Old Olive Ribbon around the card front and tied it into a double-knot faux bow. Next, I die-cut the decorative border in Mint Macaron with the Ornate Borders dies and adhered it with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I trimmed off anything that was hanging over the edge with my Paper Snips.

Sweet Sentiment—I die-cut a small Whisper White rectangle with the Stitched Rectangles dies. I inked up the decorative Ornate Style image in So Saffron ink, stamped off one time, then stamped across the rectangle. Then, I stamped the Ornate Thanks sentiment in Early Espresso over the top. The label is popped up with Dimensionals and adorn with a single Gilded Gem.

Two Cool—I was inspired to create my card above by this swap card that I received. Unfortunately, I lost the information on who originally created this card, so if it is you, please let me know so I can credit you!

This card uses a 3" x 5-1/2" layer of Old Olive and 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" Ornate Garden DSP. The border is also in Old Olive. The sentiment is stamped in Terracotta Tile ink onto a Stitched So Sweetly die-cut and sponged in Terracotta Tile ink. The card front is tied with a Terracotta Tile Ornate Garden Ribbon. So pretty!
