Painted Seasons Well Said Gift Card Holders
The quality of Stampin' Up! double-sided Designer Series Papers are unmatched and I love showing them off with projects that feature both sides of the coordinating papers. Today, I'm sharing a fun, fancy-fold gift card holder that showcases the beautiful Painted Seasons fall and winter papers!
Card Basics—I started with a 5-1/4" x 12" piece of the mushroom patterned DSP. I scored along the 12" side at the 4" and 8" marks.
Gift Card Pocket—I trimmed the last panel of the card diagonally from the 8" score line to the 12" corner. It folds up to create a gift card pocket on the inside of the card. I folded on all the score lines and secured the pocket side closed with some Tear & Tape Adhesive. The back of the DSP is mounted onto a 5-1/2" x 1-1/4" Early Espresso quarter sheet card base.
Inside The Card—I tucked a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock message card into the pocket. It's stamped with a phrase from the Well-Said stamp set in Early Espresso ink and accented with a Painted Seasons leaf in Lemon Lime Twist ink.
Card Décor—I embossed a 5-1/4" x 1-1/2" piece of Poppy Parade cardstock with the Country Floral embossing folder and adhered it onto the card front with Tear & Tape.
Sweet Sentiment—I die-cut a 2-3/8" Whisper White circle with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, then stamped the second half of the Well Said sentiment in Poppy Parade ink. I die-cut the word with the Well Written Framelits and adhered it with dabs of Multipurpose Glue. The circle popped up onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Bundle It & SAVE—Purchase the Well Said stamp set and Well Written Framelits together as a bundle to save 10% off the cost of purchasing them separately.
Leaf Accent—I inked up the Painted Seasons leaf with Mango Melody ink then sponged on some Poppy Parade ink down the center stem with a Sponge Dauber. I stamped it onto Whisper White cardstock. Doesn't it look amazing with that two-toned look? It matches the leaves in the paper perfectly! Next, die-cut it with the Four Seasons Framelits and adhered it to the card front with a Dimensionals and some SNAIL adhesive.
Finishing Touches—I colored a few Rhinestone Jewels with a Dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker and floated them around the sentiment. Too Cool!
FREE Painted Seasons Bundle—You can get the Painted Seasons Bundle, with stamps and DSP, for FREE when you place a $100 during the month of March only! That's the ONLY way that you can get the stamp set!
Four Seasons Framelits—You can now purchase the Four Seasons Framelits, which coordinate with Painted Seasons images, through March only. Buy the framelits to help you qualify for the FREE Painted Seasons Bundle!
Two Cool—My second card features the Painted Seasons paper with pretty pine cones and pine branches, perfect for the Christmas holiday!
I embossed the 5-1/4" x 1-1/2" Lemon Lime Twist piece with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder, adhered it to the front and tied some 1/8" Red Solid Ribbon around the front into a bow. The DSP card was mounted onto a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" quarter sheet of Shaded Spruce.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the first part of the Well-Said phrase in Early Espresso and the Well Written die-cut is in Shaded Spruce.
Finishing Touches—I stamped the Painted Seasons pine cone in Early Espresso onto Whisper White and die-cut with the Four Seasons Framelits. I finished with a few Red Rhinestone Jewels. So pretty!
Inside The Card—The inside message card has a Well Said phrase stamped in Early Espresso, accented with a Painted Seasons star cluster in Poppy Parade ink. So fun & festive!
Awesome Well Said Bundle—I just have to do a special shout-out for this amazing bundle! It's the ultimate in mixing and matching of sentiments, as well as coordinating phrases for inside the cards! There are 51 words & phrases stamps and 24 words & accents dies—whoa! Talk about versatility! Plus, I just love pairing a stamped phrase with a highlighted die-cut word. It's so trendy right now! This bundle is worth the price!
