Hi Stamping Friends,

Pretty patterns and terrific textures are the highlights of this pair of Painted Season cards!  Thanks to Kim Vogel for sharing this card design with me for a recent swap.

Background Basics—I started by embossing a piece of 3-3/4" x 5" Whisper White cardstock with the 2nd Release Sale-a-Bration Country Floral Texture Impressions Folder.  You can earn this item for FREE when you place a $50 order at my Online Store.  I adhered that layer using a combination of Tear & Tape and SNAIL adhesives onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pool Party, then mounted it onto a Lemon Lime Twist card base.

I finished the background by adhering a 1-1/2" x 4-3/4" strip of Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper along the left side.
 
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a phrase from the Sale-a-Bration stamp set Part of My Story in Shaded Spruce ink onto the bottom of a 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White.  This stamp set was designed to use with Memories & More memory keeping or scrapbooking projects, but it's versatile enough to use on cards as well.  You can earn it for FREE with a $50 order at my Online Store.

Beautiful Bloom—I stamped the smaller of the Painted Seasons flowers in Pool Party ink on the top of the Whisper White layer, then added a couple of leaves in Lemon Lime Twist ink.  I adhered it to a 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" Pool Party layer.  Before popping it up onto the card front with Dimensionals, I tied some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the layers for some subtle texture.

Finishing Touches—I finished off the bloom with 3 Artisan Pearls in the center of the flowers.  Although the pearls are Mint Macaron, the color is versatile enough to look terrific with Pool Party, don't you think?

Two Cool—The second card mounts the Country Floral texture layer to a 4" x 5-1/4" Petal Pink foundation and a Poppy Parade card base. This time, I used the "summer" floral pattern from Painted Seasons DSP along the side. This one is my favorite!

Sweet Sentiment—I selected a different Part of My Story sentiment for this card, stamped in Early Espresso ink.

Pretty Petals—This larger Painted Seasons flower is stamped in Poppy Parade and it's flanked with leaves in Call Me Clover ink.  The focal point was mounted onto a Petal Pink layer.  I stamped the dotted image on the center of the flower with Early Espresso ink before adding three coordinating Artisan Pearls. Pretty, pretty, pretty!

  1. Hard to decide, like both combos but decided on Poppy P.Petal p.+white. This has been the best Sale-A-Bration catalog (free choices) ever! I have wanted everything! Since it started I have been eating canned ravioli, so I can spend more money on Stamps to earn free product!! Needed to loose weight anyway…
