Jodi's Sure Do Love You Striped Hearts Card

Jodi Geers combined the two new heart-themed stamp sets to create a sweet hearts collage card!

Sneak Peek #1—Jodi's card begins with a 8" x 5-1/4" piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock, scored at 4", and embossed with the new Simple Stripes Texture Impressions Folder on one side. She adhered the folded card to a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" Calypso Coral card base.

Sneak Peek #2—Jodi used the Sweet & Sassy heart framelits to die-cut a large heart shape from the Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper to create the foundation for the heart collage.

Sneak Peek #3 & #4—The Heart Happiness stamp set has a beautiful and diverse selection of heart images that's perfect for heart collages! Jodi stamped the floral heart image in Powder Pink and the striped image in Calypso Coral. The floral image was die-cut with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits, and the striped heart was die-cut with the new Lots To Love Box Framelits dies. Both hearts are popped up with Dimensionals.

Sneak Peek #5—The sentiment is stamped from the Sure Do Love You stamp set in Melon Mambo, then die-cut with the Lots To Love Box Framelits and popped up. She finished the collage with a Gold Foil heart cut with the Sweet & Sassy dies.

Sneak Peek #6—I missed it on first look, but Jodi pointed out to me that she used the new Gold Glitter Flakes to add little shiny highlights to the heart! They are designed for use in a shaker card, but don't they look amazing as tiny single flake accents? Just the right touch of gold!

Jackie's Valentine Every Day Hearts Collage Card

Jackie Baatz also created a pretty hearts collage card for our team swap! Lots of similarities, but a few more sneak peeks, too!

Background Basics—Jackie's card starts with a 5-1/4" x 4" layer of Powder Pink card stock, embossed with the Simple Stripes folder and mounted onto a Rich Razzleberry card base.

Painted Hearts—Jackie's heart collage begins with a couple of Sweet & Sassy heart shapes from the Painted With Love DSP.

Sneak Peek #7—Jackie added some sparkly new Love Mini Tinsel Trim in Powder Pink to the card front, so that it would peek out from under the sentiment heart. The trim comes in a combo pack, which also includes gold trim.

Sneak Peek #8—The sentiment is another from the Sure Do Love You stamp set, stamped in VersaMark on Whisper White card stock, then heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. It's cut with the coordinating Lots To Love Box Framelits, then popped up with Dimensionals.

Wood Accents—Jackie finished her card by coloring a couple of wooden Hearts & Stars Elements with the Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends Marker, then attaching them with Glue Dots.
