Painterly Pears Z-Fold Good Friend Card

Today’s card is a beauty and perfect for sending to any friend! Get all the supplies to make it in my Painterly Pears Class Kit, FREE with your $55 order by tomorrow, October 14, 2025.

Background Basics

I started with a 11″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, scored at the 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″ marks and folded in a “Z” back & forth way.

On the front, I added a 2-1/2″ x 4″ piece of Secret Sea cardstock that’s been embossed with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. On the inside right, I added a 3″ x 4″ piece of the Painterly Pairs Designer Series Paper.

Focal Point Foundation

I created a focal point foundation by die-cutting a Textured Notes Basic Beige layer and mounting it onto a 4″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Mossy Meadow. I adhered the left side of the background to the front panel of the card using SEAL Adhesive.

Focal Point

I stamped the two Perfectly Pairs large pear outline in Secret Sea ink onto Basic White. For the fill image, I sponged on some Darling Duckling ink on one side and Old Olive ink on the other with Sponge Daubers. I also stamped some Secret Sea speckles on each of the pairs. I stamped the stem in Mossy Meadow ink onto Basic White cardstock, then die-cut all the pieces with the Perfectly Pears Dies.

I die-cut a Mossy Meadow leafy branch using the Perfectly Pears Dies, adhering it across the top of the focal point foundation with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered one of the stamped pears over the top of it with SEAL Adhesive. The second pear and stem are popped up with Dimensionals. I finished by die-cutting some Petal Pink flowers with the Perfectly Pears Dies and adhering them with Liquid Glue.

Sweet Sentiment & Finishing Touches

I stamped the Perfectly Pairs sentiment in Secret Sea ink onto a 1-3/4″ x 3/4″ piece of Darling Duckling cardstock. I used both SEAL Adhesive and Dimensionals to mount the sentiment over the pears.

The card is finished with a few Secret Sea Low Profile Sparkle Dots. So lovely!

Inside The Card

For the writing area inside the card, I stamped the smaller pair of pears in Secret Sea ink. The stem is colored with Secret Sea and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends Markers. I sponged the fill image with lots of Darling Duckling ink and a little Old Olive ink. The inside is covered by the outer focal point in a peek-a-boo style. I just love that look, how about you?
