Paper Blooms So Much To Me Cards
More mixing and matching with today's pair of Paper Blooms cards. I picked a floral design and a matching pattern for the background, then had fun layering different colors and shapes of coordinating Pierced Blooms die-cuts. Background Basics—I started by adhering 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" and 3-3/4" x 3-1/4" pieces of Paper Blooms DSP to a 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White layer. Then, I added some Denim Ribbon across the seam before mounting the layers onto a Rococo Rose card base.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the In Bloom sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto a Basic White Stitched So Sweetly label die-cut and popped it up with Dimensionals.
Pretty Blooms—I layered some Rococo Rose, Night of Navy and Seaside Spray Pierced Blooms die-cuts to create two pretty paper flowers. I attached the layers with Glue Dots. I also colored the flower centers with some Wink of Stella glimmer.
Finishing Touches—I colored some Pearl Jewels with the Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blends Markers to create perfectly matching pearls.
Inside The Card—The In Blooms flower stamps are perfect for decorating the inside the of card with coordinating layers of blooms. I stamped these in Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose and Night of Navy inks.
Two Cool—In the second version, I selected two different Paper Blooms DSP patterns and layered them onto a Pear Pizzazz background. The layers are mounted onto a Petal Pink card base.
Sweet Sentiment—I added the same sentiment mounted onto the card in a horizontal orientation.
Pretty Blooms—I played with some different shapes and colors for the blooms with layers in Seaside Spray, Petal Pink and Night of Navy. The Pearls are colored with Dark Mint Macaron Blends for some matching shine.
