Hello Birthday Girl Cards

Speaking of awesome new papers! Today's card features one of the exciting designs from the 12×12" It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack! This is one of the cards we're creating at the Occasions Catalog Kickoff Party on Sunday.

Background Basics—I layered a 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of the candle patterned It's My Party DSP on a 5" x 3-3/4" Basic Black mat, then wrapped a piece of the 5/8" Black Stitched Satin Ribbon around the middle and secured to the back with SNAIL adhesive. The layer is mounted on a Mint Macaron card base.

Hello Label—I stamped the Whisper White Lots of Labels Framelits die-cut with the big "hello" from the Sale-a-Bration stamp set of the same name using Melon Mambo. I added the "birthday girl" sentiment in Crushed Curry underneath. I colored the party hat with a Melon Mambo and Mint Macaron marker on the rubber before stamping it.

Cute Combos—Those adorable little images complement the different sentiments and are actually designed to fit in the space above the "E!" So cute! You can earn this Hello stamp set FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration!

Finishing Touches—I added a couple of Melon Mambo It's My Party Enamel Dots to each side of the label, then popped it up with Dimensionals. I also couldn't resist adding a little Wink of Stella shimmer to the "hello" and the party hat pompom! I seem to be giving all of my cards a little wink these days!

Two Cool—Next, I tried the card with another color card base—Melon Mambo. I also switched out the Enamel Dots to Mint Macaron.

This was fun and colorful and quick and cute! I think I need to make up some of these to keep on hand!
