Peaceful Moments Thank You Card
The pop of Basic Black color on this Peaceful Moments bundle card has a stunning effect! I received this as a swap card from Dena Rekow and couldn't wait to try it at my "Last Thursdays" class! The Poppy Moments dies make it a quick & easy card to assemble!
Background Basics—Dena started by adhering Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. The top piece, my favorite design from the pack, measures 4" x 2" and the bottom piece measures 4" x 3-1/4".
Sweet Sentiment—Dena stamped the Peaceful Moments greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black in onto Whisper White cardstock, then punched it out with the Label Me Fancy Punch. She trimmed the edge of the label flush with the side of the background layer.
Next, she wrapped some 1/2" Black Satin Ribbon along the seam of the DSP and secured the ends on the back. The layers are mounted onto a Whisper White Thick cardstock base.
Pretty Poppy—The focal point flower was created with elements die-cut from the Poppy Moments dies. The Basic Black outline flower die-cut is layered onto the solid Whisper White flower with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Dena added a Basic Black leaves die-cut behind the flower with a Glue Dot, then popped up the flower over the top with Dimensionals. She finished by die-cutting the flower center in Silver Glimmer paper and popping that up with a Mini Dimensional. So striking, don't you think?!

Painted Poppies Thank You Card
Here's another quick and easy Thank You card courtesy of the beautiful papers in the Painted Poppies Designer Series Paper pack!
Background Basics—This card has a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of the Painted Poppies DSP mounted onto a Poppy Parade card base.
Awesome Altered Ribbon—The ribbon is actually White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon that has been colored with a Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Marker. Wow! How pretty! It's wrapped around the card front twice and tied into a bow.
Sweet Sentiment—The Peaceful Moments greeting is stamped in VersaMark ink onto Basic Black cardstock, then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool until glossy & smooth. It's punched with the Label My Fancy Punch and popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—A few Peaceful Poppies Sequins were added to the sentiment label with Liquid Glue. So fast and so pretty!
