Hi Stamping Friends!
Have you seen the gorgeous papers from the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper? It just may be my favorite DSP of all time!
The colors are beautiful, the patterns are so beautiful and every sheet shimmers with a pretty pearlescent frosted sheen on the front AND the back! You really have to see it to experience it's beauty! The pearl is in honor of the Stampin' Up! 30th "pearl" anniversary. I especially love the shimmer on the back because it means those one-color patterns take on a whole new elegance!
Today, I'm sharing a couple of beautiful cards created by Peggy Tassler featuring items from this awesome Frosted Floral suite!

Peggy's First Frost Congratulations Card
This card is a perfect example of how elegant the back side of the Frosted Floral DSP can be. Peggy Tassler created this card for some of my Too Cool Team members who had awesome achievements last month.
Background Basics—Peggy started by embossing a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Gray Granite cardstock with the Subtle Texture Impressions Folder. She adhered a 4" x 2" coordinating Gray Granit Frosted Floral piece on the top. The luxurious Tranquil Tide 1/4" Velvet Ribbon was adhered across the edge of the DSP with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Peggy trimmed the ends of the ribbon trim flush to the edge of the layer before adhering it to a Merry Merlot card base.
Floral Foundation—The elements is the First Frost stamp set and coordinating Frosted Bouquet Framelits combine to create GORGEOUS floral collages! Peggy started by adhering a couple of Tranquil Tide leaf die-cuts to create a foundation for the bouquet. Next, she die-cut a couple of sprigs from the Galvanized Metallic Paper, which looks like brushed metal. Ooohh! I love how that looks with the Gray Granite elements!
Flowers—Peggy stamped the two largest First Frost flowers in Merry Merlot and the two smaller flowers in Blushing Bride onto Whisper White cardstock. This set is one of those special "Dis-Ink-tive" stamp styles, which means you get amazing details on the images! These flowers have the look of a lovely watercolor painted flower. She die-cut the flowers with the Frosted Bouquet Framelits and popped some up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Last, but not least, Peggy stamped the First Frost sentiment in VersaMark onto a 2-1/4" x 1/2" piece of Gray Granite cardstock and embossed it with White Embossing Powder. It's attached to the card front with SNAIL. I just love how these cards turned out!

Peggy's Frosted Floral Good Cheer Card
The Frosted Floral DSP is so pretty to use as a background to a sentiment focal point. Peggy created this quick & cute all-occasion card.
Background Basics—Peggy started by texture embossing a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White with the pretty Tufted embossing folder. She adhered a 4" x 2-1/2" piece of Frosted Floral DSP along the bottom. She added a 4" x 3/4" strip of Night of Navy cardstock across the middle before wrapping some Silver Metallic-Edge Satin Ribbon around the layers. They were mounted with Tear & Tape Adhesive onto a Night of Navy card base.
Sweet Sentiment—Oooh, you can really see the sheen of the pearlescent paper in this photo. Peggy stamped the First Frost sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White, then die-cut it with the lovely label shape from the Frosted Bouquet Framelits. She also cut a coordinating Night of Navy label mat, then popped up the layers over the ribbon with Dimensionals. She finished the card with a few floating Rhinestone Jewels!
