Hi Stamping Friends!

I finished sending out the first round of my September Countdown To Christmas classes yesterday…that always feels so good!  It's like packaging up happiness, because I know the recipients are going to be thrilled when it shows up in their mailbox!  Today is my local class, so I get to witness the stamping fun first-hand!  I can't wait to see my stamping friends!

I'm also busy putting together the next round of the Countdown To Christmas class series featuring Letterpress Winter.  Look for details coming soon and plan on attending the class on Saturday, October 4!

Peggy - lullaby birthday copy

CASEd from Margaret Raburn at Stampin' Fun With Margaret.

I love the combination of layers, textures and soft colors in this darling card created by Peggy Tassler.  So many sweet details make this one special card!

Embossed Envelope—I love that Peggy coordinates her envelopes to match her cards.  She embossed the flap of the envelope with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.  Nice touch!

Layered Pansies—Peggy used the Pansy Punch to punch out two flowers from Hello Honey card stock and two flowers from Lullaby Designer Series Paper, then she layered them on top of one another.  Next, she stamped an image from the Petite Petals set twice in Crisp Cantaloupe onto Crisp Cantaloupe card stock, then punched out the flowers with the Petite Petals Punch to make the flower centers.  They are popped up with Dimensionals on the card background.

Golden Pearls—The Pearl Jewels in the center of the flowers were colored with the Stampin' Dazzle Gold Marker.  Too Cool!

Lovely Leaves—Peggy used the Bird Punch to create the branches of leaves in Baked Brown Sugar card stock.

Focal Point Layers—Underneath the flower focal point is a 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock that's been covered in Gold Fancy Foil Vellum.  The corners are all rounded with the Corner Rounder Punch.

Background Basics—The 5-1/4" x 4" Whisper White background was embossed with the Decorative Dots Texture Impressions Folder, just like the envelope.  Peggy added a 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" banner made with Lullaby Designer Series Paper and fish-tailed the ends.

Gold Twine Accents—She wrapped some Gold Baker's Twine around the background layer twice before adhering it to the Hello Honey card base.  Look closely and you'll see that she left the tied ends of the twine longer and unraveled them for a shiny textured accents in the flower bouquet!  I love this detail!

Sweet Sentiment—The Gifts of Kindness birthday greeting is stamped in Baked Brown Sugar on Whisper White, then punched with the Word Window Punch and popped up with Dimensionals.

She also added a couple more golden colored Pearl Jewels to the background.  Very nice!
