Hi Stamping Friends!
I can't tell you how much it tickles me when someone creates "Two Cool" versions of a card! Today, I'm spotlighting a pair of cool cards created by Peggy Tassler that I thought were so clever!
Background Basics—Peggy created a wooden slat background using the Hardwood background stamp. It's inked in Early Espresso and stamped on a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White card stock, then matted on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Early Espresso card stock. The background is adhered to a Crumb Cake card base.
Celebrate Today Balloons—The balloons are die-cut with the Balloons Framelits and stamped with images from Celebrate Today. She used VersaMark to clear emboss the large dots on the Crumb Cake balloon and the confetti on the Early Espresso balloon. The Whisper White balloon's sentiment is stamped with Crumb Cake ink. The balloons are all tied together with Gold Baker's Twine strings.

Sweet Sentiment—The cute sentiment is from the Age Awareness stamp set, stamped on a Crumb Cake banner piece and layered on a 4-1/4" x 1/2" Whisper White strip.
OK, are you ready for this?!
Two Cool—Peggy created another version that is nearly identical…EXCEPT that she used the realistic wood photograph paper from the Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack! I love it! What a cute and easy way to add a wooden background! The DSP is layered on Whisper White this time and mounted on an Early Espresso card base.
She also tied the balloons with Early Espresso Baker's Twine instead of gold.
Such a fun masculine birthday card! Thanks for sharing, Peggy!
