Hi Stamping Friends!

Today, I'm sharing another swap card that I created recently. I'm going swap crazy this year trying to get lots of card ideas to inspire me and you! Do you do swaps? Where do you get your inspiration?
I'm loving the adorable Perfect Pines Framelits die-cuts so much! Although they are designed to coordinate with the Peaceful Pines stamp set, they are fantastic all on their own!
Background Basics—I started by embossing a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Lost Lagoon card stock with the new Softly Falling embossing folder. It's matted onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Night of Navy.
Background Accents—I added a 3-3/4" x 1-3/4" piece of Mint Macaron striped Envelope Paper along the bottom for a foundation for the greeting. I wrapped some 1/8" Silver Ribbon around the background layer and tied it into a double-knot. It's adhered onto a Mint Macaron card base.
Perfect Pines Focal Point—I used the Perfect Pines Framelits to die-cut a large Silver Foil tree to use as the background shape. Then I die-cut a Mint Macaron medium size tree and ran it through a second time with the dots tree trimmings die. This is just one of the three décor dies that come in the set—TOO FUN!
I trimmed the trunk off of the decorated tree layer, then adhered it on top of the silver tree so that the silver accents show through. The whole tree is popped up with Dimensionals onto a Whisper White Lots of Labels die-cut that's also popped up.
Finishing Details—The Perfect Pines Framelits also includes tiny little accents to decorate your trees! I added a Night of Navy star, topped with a Rhinestone Jewels.
Sweet Sentiment—I finished this "no-stamp" card with a Night of Navy die-cut sentiment from the Christmas Greetings Thinlits. The new Fine-Tip Glue Pen works great to adhere delicate die-cuts like this!
TIP: Try the new Precision Plate when you cut the Christmas Greetings sentiments. They cut completely and release easily from the die, without the need for wax paper or dryer sheets.
Two Cool—I was really happy with how the first card turned out, so my second version is not much different. I didn't like it as a horizontal card, so I just centered the focal point and sentiment on this one.
Complete Supplies List—"Clear mount" is a rubber stamp to be used on a clear acrylic block, "Photopolymer" is the see-thru style of stamps, also used with acrylic blocks.
