Perfectly Plaid Mini Pizza Boxes
If you're already a fan of the plain white Mini Pizza Boxes from Stampin' Up!, you're going to love the Gold Mini Pizza Boxes! These adorable little food-safe boxes have a bright, shiny gold finish for a dressy, holiday look. I paired them with the Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper, which has lovely gold accents, for a fun & festive combination!
Background Basics—I started by creating a three-layer background for the box top. The bottom layer is 3" x 3" Whisper White cardstock, layered onto 2-7/8" x 2-7/8" Cherry Cobbler cardstock and topped with a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" layer of Wrapped In Plaid DSP.
Glimmer Accents—I punched a Starburst shape from Gold Glimmer Paper and adhered that to the center of the background layers. Then, I tied some of the Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8" Striped Ribbon around all of the layers before adhering them to the box top with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Perfect Pine—I stamped the Perfectly Plaid realistic pine image in Shaded Spruce ink onto Whisper White cardstock. I used the Pine Tree Punch to cut out the shape BEFORE stamping the tree trunk. If you wait until after you punch, you'll know exactly where to stamp the Soft Suede colored trunk, so that it's positioned perfectly. I mounted the tree with Dimensionals, then added a few Red Rhinestone Jewels.

Treats & Gift Card Holder—I found that Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups fit perfectly inside this Mini Pizza Box and, with the gold wrapper, they match perfectly, as well! You can also lay a gift card on the top of the candy for an extra treat in this box! What a fun gift for a co-worker, friend, secret Santa, teacher or anyone with whom you do business!
Festive Décor—Since the Wrapped in Plaid DSP is 6" x 6" in size, you can decorate four pizza boxes with just one sheet of DSP! I mixed and matched several of the 12 pretty plaid patterns to create some table favors for my Too Cool Team event last month! The gold Metallic Pearls also look great for decorating the pine tree!
