Adorable Tic Tac Gum Pull-Treat Holders
Holder Basics—For my first project, I used the 6" x 6" Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper and the Perfectly Plaid stamp set. The project starts with a 6" x 6" piece of DSP, so this DSP pack is perfect for lots of variety!
- If you're paper is directional, place it with the top of the DSP at the top of the Simply Scored tool. Score along the first side at 1", 2-3/4", 3-3/4" and 5-1/2".
- Turn the paper 90° to the right, so the top is now on the right side. Score at the 1", 4-1/2" and 5-1/2" marks.
- Fold on all the score lines. Fold down the top trim edge so that is showing.
- Trim away the small 1/2" x 1" corner that's at the bottom.
- Along the bottom side, cut up the score lines to the intersecting score line.
- Place Tear & Tape Adhesive along the skinny tab on the "right side" of the DSP you want to show.
- Assemble the box. Close the bottom flaps and add Tear & Tape to secure.
- Pinch the top together.
- Watch the LIVE Class Replay above to see this in action!
Pull Tab—I cut a 1/2" x 8-1/2" strip of Shaded Spruce cardstock for the pull tab. It's stamped at the top with the Perfectly Plaid "Ho Ho Ho" stamp in Shaded Spruce ink, then the ends are stuck together with Tear & Tape. I added the Tic Tacs inside the strip, then placed it into the treat holder. See the photo later in this post.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a greeting from Itty Bitty Christmas in Shaded Spruce ink onto a 1-5/8" x 1/2" piece of Whisper White cardstock, then fishtail cut the ends. I mounted it under the focal point with Dimensionals.
Two Cool—My second version features the Let It Snow DSP and Snowman Season stamp set. I love the DSP pattern with the large sparkly snowman for this one…so fancy! The pull-tab is stamped with the Snowman Season snowflakes in Coastal Cabana and topped with a Holiday Rhinestone Jewel.
Three Cool—This style of treat holder is also perfect for Halloween treat favors! My third project uses the Monster Bash DSP and Spooktacular Bash stamp set. I made a pull-tab from Terracotta Tile and topped it with a Monster Bash Enamel Shape. So spooky!
