Petal Palette Thank You Card
The images from the Petal Palette stamp set are so beautiful that they don't need a lot of accents and frills. They stand alone with a simple elegance! I love this soft Very Vanilla card with just a few hints of Powder Pink. It really showcases the gorgeousness of the flower image!
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Score and fold 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” Very Vanilla Thick cardstock at 4-1/4” for card base
- Texture emboss front of card toward fold in leaf patterned Embossing Folder.
- Stamp “Thank You” in Memento Tuxedo Black onto 2” x 3” Very Vanilla cardstock, positioning toward top left. Die-cut with 1-3/4” x 2-3/4” Layering Oval Framelit.
- Die-cut 3-1/8” x 2-1/8” Layering Oval from Powder Pink cardstock.
- Stamp flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black onto 3” x 3-1/2” Very Vanilla cardstock. Die cut with corresponding Petals & More Thinlits die.
- Adhere the sentiment oval onto the Powder Pink oval and pop up with Dimensionals onto the card front.
- Adhere the die cut flowers along the bottom right edge of the sentiment oval, allowing overhang
- Adhere 3 Glitter Enamel Dots along left border of sentiment oval.

Petal Palette Life Is Better Card
The Petal Palette image looks amazing when it's colored! I love this card because, like the first one, it's still has minimal color to really let the image stand out! So, so pretty…and really easy to duplicate this look!
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Emboss the front of the Whisper White Thick card base using the floral Petal Pair Embossing Folder.
- Stamp the Petal Palette dots in Powder Pink along the bottom of a 3-3/4” x 3” Whisper White piece.
- Stamp the rose image in Memento Ink on the lower left side of that piece covering some of the dots.
- Stamp the Petal Palette sentiment in the upper right-hand side of the card in Memento ink.
- Using a Blender Pen, pick up a little of the Powder Pink ink from the lid (to get ink on the lid, simply press the middle of the ink pad when the ink pad is fully closed.) and color in the roses adding a little color at a time. Color in the little flower from the sentiment image in Powder Pink as well.
- Color leaves in Pear Pizzazz with the Blender Pen. Clean pen by coloring on scrap paper until clear.
- Add Wink of Stella shimmer to the roses.
- Adhere the stamped layer to a 3-7/8” x 3-1/8” Powder Pink piece using SNAIL.
- Adhere to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
