Hi Stamping Friends!
Today, I'm sharing a couple of cards created with the soon-to-retire Petal Passion Designer Series Paper! We've already seen Whole Lot of Lovely DSP and Delightful Daisy DSP sell out. Get this versatile & elegant paper before it's gone!
But first, I thought I'd give you a little update on what's been happening with Jax & Millie.
It's been quite an eventful week for my little doggers, Jax & Millie! On Monday, they got to take a trip to visit Grammie's house and hang out with Rosie, her golden retriever, while I had my Too Cool Team event. The pups are always so excited to play with Rosie! They jump up on her and love stealing antler bones, which are as big as they are, right out of Rosie's mouth. LOL!
On, Tuesday, Jax & Millie went to the groomer to get their first all-over haircuts! They had been there once before, but only had their face and paws trimmed to help them get used to it.
Millie Before—Millie's hair was so fine and wispy that it made it look like she had just got out of bed…all the time! If only I could have gotten a photo of the static in her hair after she came out from under a blanket! Every hair sticking straight up!
Jax Before—Talk about needing a haircut! Jax's hair was nearly 4" long! His hair was so fluffy that he looked like he lost half his body weight after the cut!
After The Haircuts—Awww…I thought their groomer did a great job! It's hard to tell them apart now that Jax is half his size! Pretty Millie is on the left and handsome Jax is on the right. Millie's coat is just a tad bit lighter than his; and Jax has a very pronounced white patch on his chest. I love these cuties so much!
Millie & Me Day—Yesterday, Millie and I hung out together all day, because poor Jax was getting neutered. These babies do NOT like to be apart, so to keep her mind off of missing Jax, Millie and I had a girls day! We played and practiced tricks, she enjoyed lots of treats and had a doggie massage, and we snuggled all afternoon! What fun!
Poor Conehead Jax—Jax's surgery went fine and he's was much more chipper than I anticipated. Maybe it's the drugs! Unfortunately, there will be no wrestling with Millie for a while, and he's not very happy with his cone. We borrowed Rosie's crate, so Jax has his own safeplace right next to Millie's crate. Now, if I can only convince Millie that his cone is not a chew toy.

A Mother's Flair Petal Passion Card
The Petal Passion Designer Series Paper is so, so versatile! I love the elegant black & white color scheme! Look how fabulously it coordinates with the A Mother's Flair stamp set to make this chic Mother's Day card or "thinking of you" card!
Did you see that Basic Black Archival Ink is retiring? I have always enjoyed that ink for achieving a true black and crisp look for solid images. Stampin' Up! was not happy with the quality, so they decided to get rid of it. If you like this ink, get the refills now, while supplies last! Otherwise, you'll be able to use Memento Black Ink or Jet Black StazOn Ink, which is returning to the new catalog.
