Print Out Project Tutorial & Supplies List:
The circles Picture This dies are absolutely perfect for spotlighting adorable little whimsical characters and sayings like the ones in the Way To Goat stamp set! Paired with the brick background paper, this card is definitely the greatest!
Background Basics—To make a sturdier window layer, adhere a 4" x 5-1/2" piece of the Bloom Where You're Planted Designer Series Paper to a piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock in the same size. (That Bloom Where You Planted DSP is on sale thru August 2!) Die-cut it using the Picture This circles die, then again using the largest Stitched Rectangles die to get that cool faux-stitched border. Attach to a Cinnamon Cider card base with Dimensionals.
Great Goats—Stamp the different goat images from the Way To Goat stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White cardstock scraps and color them in with Stampin' Blends Markers.
- Dark Cinnamon Cider for the horns.
- Ivory for the wool at the top of their heads
- Dark & Light Crumb Cake for their bodies and the can.
- Dark & Light Polished Pink for the flower.
Sentiment Stamps—Stamp the "cake" part of the Way To Goat sentiment in Memento ink onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock. For the other half of the sentiment, carefully ink up just the "but I" part with ink and stamp that onto scrap Basic White. Clean the stamp well, then carefully ink up the "ate it" part only and stamp on another scrap piece.
Circles—Use the Picture This dies to die-cut each of the images with the appropriate size circle. Then adhere the circles to the card front through each of the corresponding windows. Adorable!
Picture This Quiet Meadow Window Card
You don't have to only use whimsical characters with these cool multi-window Picture This dies. This card pairs the rectangle window cut-outs with some pretty die-cuts from the Meadows dies set for a more elegant, layered look.
Background Basics—Die-cut a 3-3/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Smoky Slate cardstock with the rectangle Picture This die and pop up the layer onto a Smoky Slate card base.
Meadow Moments—Use the Meadows dies to cut out four of the floral designs and the tiny tag using Shimmery White cardstock. Position the flowers peeking out through the windows and adhere them in place with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Tiny Tag—Stamp the word "love" from the Quite Meadow stamp set in Smoky Slate ink onto the tiny tag die-cut. Tie a gray baker's twine bow through the tag and attach to the flowers with a Glue Dot. Finish by adding a few Elegant Faceted Gems floating around the flowers.
