Who would have thought that pine boughs and snowflakes could combine to be so beautiful! It’s easy to create layered two-color snowflakes with the elements in this bundle!

I started by embossing a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder. Next, I adhered a 5-1/4″ x 2″ piece of Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper across the lower part of the layer. Then, I wrapped some of the Shaded Spruce Gold-Edged Ribbon around the layers, securing the ends on the back with SEAL Adhesive and mounting it onto a Shaded Spruce card base.

I stamped the snowflakes using the Delicate Pines two-step stamp set. The stamped the largest snowflake in Old Olive ink onto Basic White, then added the smaller snowflake image in the inside of the snowflake with Pretty Peacock ink. The medium snowflake is stamped in Shaded Spruce onto Basic White, then a smaller Old Olive snowflake was stamped onto the interior. The smallest snowflakes are stamped in Pretty Peacock. All snowflakes are die-cut with the Delicate Pines Dies. The two larger snowflakes are popped up with Dimensionals and the two small flakes are adhere with SEAL Adhesive.

I stamped the Delicate Pines greeting in Shaded Spruce ink onto a 3-3/4″ x 5/8″ strip of Old Olive cardstock. After trimming the ends on the diagonal, I popped up the sentiment with more Dimensionals, adding some SEAL where the greeting overlaps the snowflake.

I added a few Pretty Peacock Faceted Snowflake Gems around the card. I love how they look like sparkling, falling snowflakes, or even pretty lights on a festive tree.
